FAQ

Why should I purchase S. Ray Dead Sea Products?
Although there are many reasons for why you should choose S. Ray Dead Sea products in your treatment services and as your preferred retail professional line over any other sea or ocean brand product line, we will draw your attention to only two main points:
o First: The Dead Sea has a high concentration of minerals. In fact the Dead Sea has 7 to 10 times higher concentration of minerals than any other sea or ocean on our planet.

So What? Well, to properly answer this question, we need to highlight the benefits of the Dead Sea minerals.
These minerals provide natural deep pore cleansing; skin toning, tightening and refreshing; re-hydration and moisture retaining; and help to naturally repair cell metabolism. In addition they work together to assist in maintaining the body's balance by regulating the distribution of fluid on either side of the cell walls as well as to preserve the alkalinity of the body's fluid and aids in keeping the skin healthy.

Second: While the concentration of Sodium Chloride (NaCl), which is food salt, in regular sea or ocean salt is 90% to 97%. The concentration of NaCl (food salt) in the S. Ray Dead Sea Minerals is only about 7% to 18%.

So What? Subjecting the skin to NaCl (food salt) will most likely result in skin dehydration and irritation. If you have been using sea or ocean salt or a mix thereof in your exfoliation process, you will have likely experienced skin irritation and dehydration. The reason for this dehydration is the high concentration of NaCl in the sea or ocean salt that you use. If you want to eliminate these complaints we recommend that you stop using sea and/or ocean salt in your treatments and start using S. Ray Dead Sea Minerals.

What makes S. Ray different than other Dead Sea products?

S. Ray is pure Dead Sea products. Our products are not mixed with sea or ocean salts like it is with other dead sea brands.

What is the Dead Sea?
salt lake in southwestern Asia. Bounded on the west by Israel and the West Bank and on the east by Jordan, the Dead Sea forms part of the Israeli-Jordanian border. The Dead Sea is fed mainly by the Jordan River, which enters the lake from the north. Several smaller streams also enter the sea, chiefly from the east.

The surface of the Dead Sea, 408 m (1,340 ft) below sea level, is the lowest water surface on earth. The concentration of minerals in the Dead Sea is nearly 7 to 10 times higher than that of any other sea or ocean. The Dead Sea contains 27 percent solid substances: sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium bromide, sulphates and many others. These minerals are important for the improvement of skin cell metabolism.

Since ancient times, the Dead Sea minerals and mud have been known for their remarkably beneficial effect on the skin, hair and stressed muscles. Queens and kings such as Cleopatra and Sheba and David and Solomon, built therapeutic baths on the Dead Sea shores.
